Fire Wave

The Fire Wave (ウェーブ炎), known among fans as Höllenfeuer (lit. Hell Fire), is the main weapon that Michael Zeppelin wields in battle. Using it, Zeppelin can release a small fireball that rushes at opponents, leaving behind a trail of small fire pillars as it does so. After shooting off the fireball, he will transform into a swarm of bats and rush at his opponent was standing.

During his demon transformation, the Count uses Fire Wave to spit large fireballs at his opponent. He can also spit three fireballs down into the ground while jumping, after which the fireballs explode into large pillars of flame. In Rosenkreuzstilette ~Freudenstachel~, the Count in his demon form will spit several fireballs into the air that will come down on his opponent.

Trivia

• Fire Wave is based on Dracula's Hellfire attack and his fire-spitting attack in his demon forms in the Castlevania series, as well as Heat Man's attacks in Mega Man 2 and the Fire Wave weapon from Mega Man X.
• Fire Wave was the only main weapon in Rosenkreuzstilette that did not have an actual name mentioned in game. Therefore, because of the similarities between Zeppelin, his weapon, Dracula, and his fire attacks, a fan of the Rosenkreuzstilette series decided to give the name "Höllenfeuer" to the weapon, naming it after Dracula's Hellfire attack.
