Liebessturm (リーベスシュトゥルム, Riibesshuturumu, lit. Love's Storm), also known as the Tempest of Love (愛の嵐), is Liebea Palesch's main weapon and the weapon Spiritia Rosenberg attains from her. Libessturm is one of Liebea's weather-manipulating powers that she can not control. She normally chants a few words before she can summon the rainstorm, though she's vulnerable to attacks as she chants the words to cast Liebessturm. Spiritia is able to summon rainstorms at will that can damage all enemies on screen.

In Rosenkreuzstilette, it is the weakness of Luste Teuber and the Deviled Egg.

Liebea's new attack with Liebessturm in ~Freudenstachel~ is to conjure a tornado that pushes her opponents away from her, which was available to her in the C75 Trial version. In the full version, when Liebea makes a long, high leap to one side of the screen after hopping twice towards the other, she can conjure a larger tornado in the center and jump up again as she does so. In Desperation Mode, she can summon two tornadoes instead of one, either in the middle or on the sides of the area.

In the full version of ~Freudenstachel~, Liebessturm had a major change of function. This time, she leaps all the way to the other side of the screen then jumps high and summon a huge tornado at the center. In Desperation Mode, she can summon it at both sides closing in to the opponent. Note that the tornado splits when summoned at the center during this mode.

Trivia[]

  • Liebeassturm is Rosenkreuzstilette's version of Toad Man's Rain Flush from Mega Man 4. Unlike the original move, it activates instantaneously instead of having a delay.
  • In the original Japanese release of Rosenkreuzstilette, it is misspelled as "Liebesstrum" when the player first acquires the new weapon. This was fixed in the English fan translation of Rosenkreuzstilette.
